Maxis is the leading communication service provider with over 12 million mobile subscribers and consistently delivering revenue of over RM2 billion per quarter. Established in 1993, it has offered a wide range of services such as mobile services, international gateway and fixed line services.
Building on its strong growth over the years, Maxis has a good track record of bringing innovation, excellent service experience and value to its customers. It has also consistently won awards and accolades such as Asia-Pacific Super Excellent Brand Award and the Mobile Data Service Provider of the Year in 2009.
Maxis was bought up by private equity in 2007 and was delisted from the Bursa Malaysia. However, it was relisted in November 2009, being the largest-ever IPO in Malaysia and South East Asia.
