Community Work
Every year Goldman Sachs allows each employee to take a day off work to volunteer on a team based project with a non-profit organisation. In 2009, 43 Goldman Sachs offices partnered with 828 non-profit Community Partners worldwide. Over 22,800 Goldman Sachs volunteers joined with family and friends to contribute over 134,247 hours to the communities where they worked and lived. 2009 marked the thirteenth anniversary of the program.
