Ma Weihua, male, Director and President, Member of Executive Commission under the Board of Directors. Senior Economist, holder of Bachelor's Degree from Economics Department of Jilin University, Ph.D in economics from Southwest Finance and Economics University; and Doctor Honoris from South California University, USA. Mr. Ma has accumulated rich knowledge and practical experience in financial service sector, particularly in the field of bank management. He served in Liaoning Provincial Planning Economy Commission from 1982 to 1985 as deputy section director and deputy secretary general, later transferred to the General Office of Liaoning Provincial Government, and worked there from 1985 to 1986. From 1986 to 1988, he worked in the General Office of Anhui Provincial Government. From 1988 to 1990, he served as deputy director of the General Office of the People's Bank of China. From 1990 to 1992, he served as deputy director of Planning and Cash Department of the People's Bank of China. From 1992 to 1998, he served as President of the People's Bank of China Hainan Provincial Branch and Director of State Foreign Exchange Regulatory Bureaus Hainan Branch. From March 1999 to date, he has been serving as President of China Merchants Bank. Mr. Ma Weihua is also a member to the Standing Council of China Finance Academy, Deputy Governor of China Industrialists Association, Trustee of China United Development Research Institute, as well as guest professor of Peking University, Jilin University, Southwest Finance and Economics University, Yunnan University, Northwest University and Graduate School of the People's Bank of China.

Zhang Guanghua, male, Senior Vice President, Ph.D in economics from Southwest Finance and Economics University, member of Standing Council of China Society for Finance and Banking, vice chairman of both Guangdong Society for Finance and Banking, and Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce respectively. 
Mr. Zhang’s main working experiences are as follows: from July 1986 to October 1992, deputy general manager of Policy Research Office, and general manager of Planning Department, of State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from October 1992 to June 1994, assistant President of PBOC Hainan Branch, from June 1994 to November 1998, vice president of PBOC Hainan Branch, and deputy director of Hainan Branch of State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from November 1998 to September 2002, vice president of PBOC Guangzhou Branch, from September 2002 to April 2007, CEO of Guangdong Development Bank. Since April 2007, he serves as Deputy Party Secretary , and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of China Merchants Bank
